Michael P. Gilliland, OD

Dr. Gilliland grew up in Columbus. He did his undergraduate studies as well as his optometry schooling at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gilliland has been practicing optometry for over 20 years and continues to further his education, especially in the areas of contact lenses, eye disease evaluation and treatment and laser surgery co-management. Dr. Gilliland is a member of The Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He regularly donates his time to free vision screenings for underprivleged children and local schools. His professional interests include treatment of eye diseases and laser surgery co-management.



Daniel J. Rozzo, O.D.

Dr. Rozzo was born in Hubbard, Ohio and attended Hubbard High School. He completed his college training at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. While at Ohio State, he placed special emphasis on contact lenses and sports vision, and participated in a clinical rotation at the Veteran's Administration Outpatient Clinic. Upon graduation he was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa for his outstanding academic achievements. His professional interests include pre and post operative care of both cataract and laser surgery patients.



Robert D. Strohl, O.D.

Dr. Strohl grew up in Springfield, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degrees. After serving as an optometrist in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he returned to Columbus to start his practice. He has served as a consultant to the Ohio Department of Health, Maternal & Child Health Division, for over 20 years. He also spent time as a clinical instructor at the College of Optometry at The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Optometric and Ohio Optometric Associations. His professional interests include family practice and the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease.



Michael J. Earley, O.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Earley graduated from Northwestern University in 1983. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry and received his O.D. degree Summa Cum Laude in 1988. While in optometry school, he was enrolled in a dual degree program and concurrently received his M.S. degree. His thesis was on the development of color vision in infants. He continued his graduate work at Ohio State and received his Ph.D. in 1992. His dissertation was on the vision losses associated with amblyopia (lazy eye). Dr. Earley has been a full-time faculty member at The Ohio State University College of Optometry since 1992 and teaches courses in neuroanatomy, histology and ocular anatomy. He was awarded the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching in 1998. He is currently the chief of the Pediatric Clinic and the Binocular Vision Clinic at the college. He is actively involved in research in reading disability, amblyopia and myopia development. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
